The dress code for our wedding is Semi Formal. We encourage you to wear what you feel is emblematic of your style. There is no requirement for ties or mandatory length of dress. Keep in mind that the wedding will be held in early August so it may get steamy.
WARNING
If you wear white or off white you will have to answer to the bride. This is a strict door.

Our wedding will be held at the beautiful, sexy yet sultry, My Moon Restaurant in Williamsburg, Bk. The ceremony and Reception will be held at the same location. The Ceremony will take place in the planted deck area - rain or shine - as their is a retractable roof.
The reception will take place inside the air conditioned restaurant. We will have private access to the entire venue. Guest can mingle on the planted deck, in the restaurant or on the terrace throughout the night.
We can’t wait to have all our closest friends and family celebrate and dance the night away together at My Moon.

Our dinner will be a family style meal where each guest will have access to three entrees and an assortment of appetizers.

AccomMOdations
We chose not to book a hotel block as we felt there was not enough value and that the flexibility better suited our guests.
We would recommend booking any hotels at minimum 3 months in advance of our date. We have found Priceline to be the best value for booking hotels.
Airbnb and VRBO both have a wide range of options for short term rental of apartments.
We would recommend the following areas for proximity and accessibility to the wedding venue.
Williamsburg (where the venue is located), Long Island City, Greenpoint. Clinton Hill, Chelsea (20th Street and lower), Soho, Downtown Brooklyn, East Williamsburg.
We would recommend avoiding the Penn Station/Madison Square Garden and Times Square areas.
Feel free to contact us with any questions! We would love to help!
Transportation
New York is a full of public transportation. We encourage the use of the Subway and Bus system.
Citi Bike rentals are readily available and offer Ebikes as well as pedal bikes.
Uber and Lyft are the primary ride share services. We would highly encourage the use of these if you require a car to or from the venue. Yellow Cabs are also available in the area but can be difficult to hale.
If you would like to rent a car we highly encourage you to do so from your arriving airport.
Brooklyn and New York are both challenging places to find street parking. If you plan to bring or rent a car please consider that there is very little street parking available. There are multiple parking garages in the area but have generally high fees especially for a Friday night.
